Actinidia chinensis var. deliciosa 'Kiwi Sunrise'

Habit

Fast growing vine suitable for arbors, trellises, fences or walls.

Foliage & Bark

Deciduous, large cordate to ovate shaped 4-6" long leaves medium green leaves are imbued with wildly randomized patches and sections of white and yellow. No two leaves alike.

Flower & Fruit

The 1" wide fragrant flowers appear in late spring, opening cream to green-white, turning yellow-orange. Due to the appearance on older wood the bloom is mostly obscured by the foliage. The fruit is green upon emergence, brown when ripe in early fall. The discoverer has fruited this form and has indicated that some of the fruit are yellow striped as well! Planting a male variety as a pollinizer would be necessary in order to give rise to this unusual aspect.
