This newly formed web site is our attempt to provide plants to the retail public that are seldom seen and, in many cases, exclusive to our nursery.
Since our wholesale business dates to the Truman era, it is easy to surmise how we might have evaluated quite a few genera over the years. As a result, there is a high probability that purchasers of some of our offerings will be the first gardeners anywhere to enjoy these treasures in their landscape.
The plant menu is a diverse mix of mostly deciduous trees and shrubs, with a few conifers - deciduous and otherwise - and broadleaf evergreens mixed in. If you are seeking succulents, bulbs, perennials, annuals or zonally challenged plants we are not going to be able to help, at least not yet.
The plant characteristics we chose to focus on cover a broad range:
Form - weeping, dwarf, fastigiate, contorted, fasciated or unusually fast or slow.
Foliage – variegation, atypical shapes, colors, textures or autumn display.
